Things I found at the Free Store

Every year, TMU helps new students furnish their dorms and get a jump start on school supplies with the TMU free store! You never know what you might dig up. Here were my best finds this year

1. The skeleton of 14th-century Venitian merchant Marco Polo

   Talk about a vintage find!

2. Twelve ice trays

   With those hot Toronto Septembers, I was lucky to snag a few ice trays to get me through!

3. A Macintosh II

   Move over Y2K, mid-‘80s beige consumer electronics are here!

4. A garden gnome with the face of my father

   Now, I don’t have a lawn, but it’s always nice to have a reminder of home

5. A Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye airborne early warning aircraft

   You can never be too prepared!

6. The One Ring

7. Table lamp

   A cute lamp to help you study through the night!
